Smooch Boone is a singer/songwriter/producer from Baltimore Maryland. When he started writing and producing songs in 1996, he used to record songs on CD and give them to his grandmother. And even though the songs sucked she would encourage him to keep doing it. Some years later his grandmother fell ill with cancer, Smooch was devastated. He knew he was losing the love of his life. After fighting day after day and week after week, the cancer was starting to take over. Smooch's grandmother went into hospice and had only weeks to live. Smooch stopped recording and stayed by her side. She told him to push his music into the world. " And don't do it for money or fame, do it because you still want to impress me. I love your music and the more you do it the better you will get." She passed a few weeks later and Smooch was crushed so much that he walked away from music for some years, still dealing with the loss of his grandma.
