SOAPER are a two-piece grunge/alt-rock band from Lincolnshire, UK, consisting of husband-and-wife James and Karina Palmer.
The duo have been hard at work since forming in 2021, touring up and down the UK including support slots with Seas of Mirth, Glitchers, Big Lad, A-tota-so, The Last Vinci, TRAPS, Bedsit, GUTS and My Octopus Mind.
This dynamic pair could previously be seen stunning audiences across the UK & Europe with their energetic live performances in their 3-piece, math-rock band Bear Makes Ninja. The trio enjoyed success within the math-rock scene with the EP Shouting at Bridges (2013) and the Rocky O’Reilly (And So I Watch You From Afar)-produced album Shenanagrams (2016). Appearances at ArcTanGent festival, numerous BBC Introducing performances and relentless touring around Europe are some of Bear Makes Ninja’s career highlights.
Plans are underway for further releases and tour dates this year.
