I write music around the things people usually keep to themselves — obsession, heartbreak, overthinking, bad decisions, pressure, attraction, self-doubt and trying to keep moving when your head is fighting you.
My lyrics are usually built from small, real details rather than trying to sound overly poetic. Cracked phone screens, cold coffee, dying roses, empty rooms, missed calls, work shifts, late-night drives — ordinary things that carry a lot more weight when life gets messy.
Musically, Softbane303 doesn’t sit neatly inside one box. The foundation is dark trap, underground hip-hop and horrorcore, but I pull from dark R&B, gothic rock, metal, Memphis-inspired rap, phonk, club music and Southern influences depending on what the song needs.
Expect deep male vocals, punchy rhythmic delivery, whispered lines before drops, distorted 808s, heavy sub bass, dark guitars, cinematic atmosphere and hooks made to stick in your head. Some tracks are aggressive. Some are seductive.
