Sol Gyres, formed by siblings Scott (bass and vocals) and Skyelyn (keyboard and vocals), conjures a genre-blurring sound with a deep reggae foundation.
They independently wrote, recorded, and produced their first, eponymous EP in 2020. They released their second self-produced EP, Night, in April 2021.
Skyelyn and Scott are from Connecticut and have been creating music their entire lives. Their music contains philosophical themes of nature, resistance, the universe, and the supernatural.
