At 3 years old, Manitoba born artist Tamara Alexis enamoured with a toy piano found chords and melodies, the song of her life would write itself. High school band, she sat in the first chair and joined a youth orchestra to further her abilities. Alexis turned to fashion design, graduating with honors earning ILGW award in NYC, launching her own label in 1981. Tamara Alexis became one of the most successful designers leading to major positions as design director of well known international clothing brands. Venturing back into music field in 1996 was her first live solo performance at Massey Hall, debute of her album of songs, Western Sky, almost ten years before it was recorded in 2005. Building her own artists label, Sound of Alexis Music, advancing musicians and original content providers, fine tuning online revenue creation , merging technologies, developing international commercial opportunities producing directing stage musicals and documentary films.
