In 1985 (year12) I fell in with a new group of friends after returning home after a couple of years at boarding school. These new friends opened doors to a whole other world of music, up until then my listening was pretty main stream , countdown, things going around the boarding house, and the odd thing filtering down from my older sisters. My new friends introduced me to a much more interesting musical fare , notably 60's music ,psychedelia, garage, punk as well as much more contemporary independent/underground artists . I remember the great allure these musical creations had, I would get lost in album sleeves while sounds invoked the time machine. Actually playing music for myself only became a passion this century. I love the buzz of creating something, rough n ready, sweet, riffy, melodic, honest and being present in the flow. Thanks For having a listen .. cheers ;) Marcus
