Alex Spangler is a singer-songwriter based out of Philadelphia. He is a sophomore attending the University of the Arts studying music business, entrepreneurship and technology. His primary focus is on songwriting and production and is currently working on his first project to be released in 2021. Alex takes influence from artists like John Mayer, Steely Dan, Frank Ocean, The Grateful Dead, Daniel Caesar, Tom Misch and Jon Bellion. His mission statement is to create pop music that tells unique stories that is heavily influenced by jazz and blues. He incorporates a lot of horns, guitar and instrumental sections in his music which allows for improvisational elements during live performances.
