StompBox Holiday singer/songwriter, Spencer Thornton (Snake Farmers Band, Melrose Hillbillies), a native of Athens, GA who migrated to Los Angeles, CA describes his music as a “four-chord, five-piece, foot-stompin’ mash-up of Alt Americana meets Hillbilly-Roots Rock n Roll with a Southern Accent.” Thornton (Songwriter/Lead Vocals/Acoustic Guitar) says he and his band mates, Vanilla Neulan (Vocals/Washboard/Percussion), Barry Kolsky (Lead Guitar), Gio Sanserino (Bass Guitar) and Bill Beemer (Drums/Percussion) come from such diverse musical backgrounds that it was next to impossible for each of them NOT to bring a little something different to the table when working out how they’d do his original songs at a live show. “It’s all good… till it goes off the rails. But even then, it’s such a kick in the pants for the four of us old-schoolers to be able to meet up once a week, get the creative juices flowin’ and have some serious fun without breakin’ the law.

Cool Drink of Water
We got us a water problem out here in Southern California... not to mention a fire problem and an earthquake problem. But hell, most every other state has a few of there own. We thought we'd write a song about the mess we're all in and see who's payin' attention. Thanks for listening. SpencerTeemore
