I am a bassist and lead vocalist. From Beale St to Bleeker St to Bourbon St, I've played them all! Born in NJ, I began my life in the performing arts playing violin and studying dance, but the bass became my true love. I immersed myself in the NY/NJ blues scene and became one of the founding members of the Soul Food blues band, recorded two albums and performed all over the tri-state area and headlined at Canada’s Maximum Blues Festival. I've worked in several other projects over the years as well as pick-up gigs in between.
I moved to Austin TX in 2007 and have performed at countless venues, from 6th Street bars to Antone’s and the Continental Club. SOB & The Dangs is my dream band! Originally a family band with my nephews Peter and Lou D'Angelo. We recorded "Coronacoaster”, during COVID, and it has now morphed to include Austin gem musicians Carl Ryals, Abel James, and Stephen Beasley. Enjoy this multi-genre ride of music!
