Starvine is a songwriter and performer from Wollongong, Australia, who spent over two decades as a drummer in punk rock and psych bands before a mental health breakdown shifted her creative path. Embracing healing and self-discovery, she’s now releasing her debut solo album We’re Alone… For Now (2025), a collection written, performed, mixed, and mastered in her home studio. The album reflects a lighter, more hopeful version of herself, exploring love, grief, and growth.
From the intimate folk of “Where Are You, My Love?” to the exuberant queer anthem “We Are Free,” We’re Alone… For Now spans a range of moods and sounds, with tracks that invite both dance and introspection. Starvine’s music embraces the bittersweet complexities of life and love, offering a space to feel deeply, heal, and dream.
Her songs remind us that even in our loneliest moments, we’re never truly alone.
