Whilst I have been a musician for some fifty years, sometimes professional, sometimes semi-professional, and sometimes purely as a hobby, I have only recently started trying my hand at writing songs, mainly due to being stuck in isolation during Covid-19 lockdowns. Because of my longevity, I have played many different genres of music, from folk to heavy rock, and most points in between. This may explain the rather eclectic nature of my songs, some being quiet, folk-inspired tunes, whilst others are closer to soft rock. It's hard to categorise when I have been influenced by so many different types of music over the years. That said, my main inspirations have been (in no particular order) The Beatles, David Crosby, Dan Fogelberg, British music of the 60s, West Coast USA music from the 70s, and far too many guitar players to even consider listing them. I hope you find something you like in these offerings and, if you do, perhaps you could tell your friends.
