Steve Orchard’s music roots are based in the folk singer/songwriter scene of the 1970’s. In the 1990’s he was performing regularly his style of cover versions in pubs, clubs, hotels, holiday parks and military bases. In the early 2000’s he concentrated all his energy’s into composing ‘pop’ style music but, found his niche in 2006, writing New Age instrumental music inspired by the likes of Tomita, Mike Oldfield and Vangelis. Twenty eight albums later his music has evolved into a meditative, chill out, ambient style stretching musical boundaries with innovative instrumental compositions playing acoustic and electric guitars and keyboards. This willingness to explore new boundaries has clearly found new fans in the electronic music scene.
Steve lives in the tranquility of the Cotswolds, England with his wife Julie.'
