Still Breathing Static is a female and male metalcore duo formed on 30 January 2026, delivering emotionally driven modern heavy music that blends raw aggression with cinematic atmosphere. Rooted in modern metalcore and djent, the duo fuses tight, percussive riffing with electronic, synth, and orchestral elements to create an immersive and human sound. Operating in Drop C at 160 BPM, Still Breathing Static embraces a dry, unpolished production style focused on impact and authenticity. Their music features syncopated djent chugs, stop-start rhythms, heavy open-chord choruses, melodic leads, and expressive solos, supported by hard-hitting drums, half-time breakdowns, and a punchy bass tightly locked to the guitars. Atmospheric piano and cinematic textures shape each track’s emotional arc, while vocals balance aggressive fry and baritone screams with raspy, emotionally charged cleans. The result is aggressive, emotional, cinematic metalcore built on dynamic tension and honest expression.
