SMC is made up of 7 uniquely talented rappers that bring their own distinct individual flavours. Each member speaks their own truth, hailing from two small towns in Mississippi; Natchez and Fayette. Stories of poverty, struggle, depression complimented by dreams of fame, money and success. Together the group embodies the word 'brotherhood' and reminds you why we fell in love with some of the greatest southern hip hop acts the culture has seen. SMC is reminiscent of OutKast lyrically, has Goodie Mob smoothness and the story-telling abilities of Scarface. Modern production polishes their sound to fit in the contemporary hip hop scene while refusing to sacrifice their 'throwback' appeal.
