Music music music. I’ve been engineering for 15 plus and the last 10 actually making a profit off of my services. We utilize analog gear for tracking , mixing and mastering and also have a full suit of plugins from Waves to Plug-in Alliance and use Protools for our main DAW and Reason for any instrumentals or sound design. For ADDA we have an Apogee Symphony mk1 8x8 with the 8 mic pres (they actually sound close to the Avalon 737 wo the eq engaged , very transparent ) we also have a Great River NV1 1073 style preamp. For mixing we use Retro Audio (2x Retro Doublewides), Pultec 500eqpx (2x for stereo like the RDW, great combo ) 2x Purple Action Compressors (1176 style comp) RND 551 and then an RND 535 paired with the NV1 you basically have a modular Nev Shelford Channel but I think it sounds beefier and so smooth on the low end …oh we also have a Kush Tweaker (Distressor on steroids). We use focal solos for near field monitors and our mics included am ADK800 And INNERTUBE MAG mm2000
