Subversion

Weymouth

Subversion is a Duo from Weymouth creating upbeat funky dance music with a dub twist using loop stations and drum machines. Starting way back in 2015 Dredge and Pan started a little acoustic side project called Subversion for fun along side a main project ska/punk band Toxic Fish. Never really taking it seriously, it didn’t flourish into the project it has become until 2020 locked us down! Buying loop stations and drum machines in a desperate need to play music and plenty of time, separately both Dredge and Pan learned to use the systems and after lockdowns finished they decided to put both stations together and create what is now Subversion. Since then they have been refining their skills and live performance and In May 2024 the duo released their first single called Lost.
