I am a singer who has experience performing at local and international events, with a passion for fusing different styles of music. Trained vocally and on the violin in South Indian Carnatic music since the age of 6, whilst later learning Western Classical genres, all the while being an avid lover of Afrobeats and R&B, I am eager to bridge the gap between the artistically separate but compatible styles. Integrating music of different cultures and languages is something I enjoy very much, and has led me to produce covers and mashups on Instagram, including songs in Tamil, Hindi, Punjabi and Malayalam. I am currently in the process of writing my own music, in both English and in my mother tongue Tamil, which I have always enjoyed. I feel as though the beauty of Tamil music is globally underrated and deserves a larger platform. I hope that within the next few years, I will contribute something to the array of talented Tamil independent artists making a name for themselves.
