Classe 1989, Alessandro Caruso nasce a Roma. Cresciuto con il Brit Pop, come certi inglesi ha diviso il suo cuore tra partite di calcio e musica. Suona e compone per i WOPS per dieci anni, un rapporto d'amore che, come certi amori, finisce. Quello per la musica invece no. Pensato da solista, il progetto Titanca nasce per guardare le cose dall'alto, con più leggerezza, come la Titanca, la pianta più alta delle Ande, che dopo il suo massimo splendore, tranquillamente, si lascia morire.
