The Single Cell Paramecium is the creation of one who operates under the irreverent alias Redley Bobson O’Jangowitz, a nod to Paul Westerberg’s Grandpaboy era, where polish was traded for pulse and truth cut through the noise. A devoted punk lifer and self-made hooligan, builds music from the ground up in the spirit of DIY—unfiltered, imperfect, and deeply human. His work carries a distinct, idiosyncratic rhythm shaped by an autistic perspective, where patterns, intensity, and emotional clarity collide. Drawing from lived experience with PTSD, depression, and borderline personality disorder, the songs become more than expression—they’re documentation.
