‘Tapped it Twice’ are Mike Payne and Roy Begernie, two guitarist friends who share a passion for writing and performing their own songs. They met in the 90s, but didn’t team up to write until 2014. What started as writing a track for fun, soon turned into an album project. The pair completed their first album, ‘Cold Tap’ early in ’24. It’s now available on Spotify and for streaming and downloading at Bandcamp. Those who have listened describe it as rocky/retro and modern all in one. The pair have just started composing the follow up. There are some great songs that stand well against anyone else.
