Telehorn is the musical alias of performance artist and producer Jacob Vanderham. The folktronica solo project was conceived in the winter of 2020 after Jacob crafted a makeshift recording studio in the back of welding shop in Neukölln, Berlin. Telehorn’s infectious melodies and emotionally candid lyrics draw listeners into eclectic musical landscapes, brushed with ambient field recordings, hypnotic lo-fi drum samples and lush string arrangements.

Highway 45 emerges from an ambient wash of strings, before leading you through a door into a psychedelic, disco-infused house party, where attendees are introduced to some of my old neighbours, both dead and alive. I’ve been fantasizing about the moment when I arrive at my first post-pandemic party. This song is the soundtrack to the final days of that fantasy. Keep chippin ;)more

Get to Me
Get to Me is my debut single and the first cut from my upcoming EP. The song is brushed with ambient field recordings, hypnotic lo-fi drum samples and lush twisted string arrangements. It begins as a simple extension of love and support but slowly it morphs into something different. It speaks to the complexities of falling hard and fast in love and how sometimes we can lose touch with ourselves as individuals in the depths of such desire.
