TexasBird is a new passion project that we stumbled upon last year. Ed has been playing punk rock guitar in touring bands for over 35 year. He has played in bands that have had songs covered by world famous heavy metal platinum selling Slayer. He has toured all of US and even was a hired gun for another world famous thrash metal band called DRI on part of their South American tour. He has been written on and featured on 7 full lengths LPs and multiple compilations. He found out recently that his musical roots were a strong and extremely important part of music history. Ed's grandfather was a member of Harry Choates band when he first recorded Jole Blon...this song was the first ever Caijun song to EVER hit the billboard top 100 and it debuted at #4 ....this story goes even deeper but we will cut it short.
