My name is Th30ry, I was born and raised in Chicago, IL but am now living and working out of Louisville, KY. I started making music when I was 30 years old (hence the number 30 in my name) and used music as a way to cope with stress, anxiety and depression. I served in the United States Marine Corps from 2010 - 2015 and decided to get out after my time in and stay in Jacksonville, NC where I was stationed, as I met my wife there. We had a daughter in August 2015. In September of 2018, Hurricane Florence devastated the town of Jacksonville, NC and my family and I left to evacuate the storm and came to Louisville. We ended up losing everything, so we were forced to start over in a new town. After living in multiple hotels and a Red Cross shelter, we finally got settled into our first apartment and shortly after I had a severe anxiety attack which hospitalized me. That became the birth of Th30ry. Now I use my voice to help others who struggle with the same feelings of stress and anxiety.
