“Too weird to Live, and too rare to Die” -Hunter S. Thompson. An Absurdist at his core, The Amazing Bozo is a Singer-Songwriter from Houston, Texas. The wild costume and bright colors contrast with the stark, lonely lofi nature of his music to take listeners to a place of deep emotional vulnerability. Presented initially as a “Dadaist deconstruction of the Midwest Emo Genre,” the project has grown into an effort to meld the beloved stylings of punk, emo, and hardcore with those of traditional 60’s and 70’s Texas Country music. It is worth noting that Bozo can most often be found hosting shows in spaces considered “non-traditional” for a Country artist and can more often than not be found crooning country originals and telling jokes to Punk and DIY crowds. He is currently recording his first full length album at Joe’s Deli, a Delicatessen in South Houston run by his producer Htownswanga.
