Born and raised in the north of France, Yannis Joly and Nassim
Bouayadi met in 2017 through the high school talent night. After this
meeting, the duo started to make psychedelic rock in Yannis' garage
for almost a year with the ambition to make their first album. But the
two started to get interested in electronic music and started to move
away from rock music.
In 2018 the duo Joly-Bouayadi created The Hofners
