Born in Vallejo, ca music was A major factor in my house growing up. Raised in A Baptist household It was always gospel music playing. Different High Notes And Runs that I would often practice and imitate until I got it an made it own is a big part of what trained my ears better than any other music could. Being in a family full of singers I had to make myself a spot at the table, as a child I used class time for rehearsal and always had some kind of music to listen to. My mom and aunty are my biggest personal musical influences. My favorite artist since 4 years old has been and still remains to be John p kee. My introduction to music other than Gospel, Started with artist like michael Jackson, Stevie wonder, Luther vandross etc.. music that actually meant something. My love for music and belief in myself is what made me attend and graduate Berklee college of music. It was there I learned to broaden my musical horizons and really get into songwriting.
