Valentine Charlie are Dave Thompson (Vocals, Lead/Rhythm Guitar, Keys) and Mick Davis (Bass, Percussion) from North Shields in the north east of England. We've been friends since childhood and originally played together in the early eighties but went our separate ways. We eventually hooked up again to form Valentine Charlie. Our musical influences include, to name but a few: The Velvet Underground, Iggy and the Stooges, David Bowie, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. We write our own material which we mix, master and publish ourselves.
