Valerie Saundry is from the Carnes area of South Mississippi. She is a singer, songwriter, and musician, writing and singing in the Contemporary Christian and Southern Gospel genres. Her passion is to share the gospel of Christ through her music. Valerie has been a multi-instrumentalist, playing the piano, keyboard and drums from her teen years. She began playing and singing in church and wrote her first song at age 17. Though she never pursued it, being a songwriter, studio musician and producer at Belmont University in Nashville was her long-time dream. As a music teacher, she has taught in several school districts throughout South MS. In July of 2022, by way of Full Circle Music and a songwriting community called Song Chasers, she returned to her first love of songwriting and production by joining and meeting other songwriters and forming co-writes. Valerie's most recent song, "Meet Me There" reflects on her childhood roots and seeking those paths that lead to our Eternal Home.
