Velveteen Queen is a new young rock band that started in 2021 and is based in Gothenburg with roots in 70s and 80s rock music.
Velveteen Queen's release really builds on the band's output to date, with great songwriting that plays to their strengths: bluesy, raw '80s rock 'n' roll, melodic hard rock and soulful '70s blues rock.
Since the band released their debut single in, they have already had several concerts around Sweden, been a support act for Hardcore Superstar, among others, and in 2022 the band played two festival gigs at the Sweden Rock Festival. 2023 in February, March and April, Velveteen Queen goes on their first real tour as supportact to NESTOR on their "1989 Illusion Tour" in Sweden and Norway.
