Since the early 90’s in NYC, Vico Sabbagh has long enjoyed the many collaborations and has finally come full circle with his own brand of music; combining Blues, R&B, Funk and Rock. Vico joined guitarist Nate Rudy & formed Rude Mood back in 1989 & grabbed a lot of attention attributed to his booming soulful, raspy voice combined with his clean cut look. Playing the New York City club circuit, the band were regulars at Manny’s Car Wash, Terra Blues, Sun Mountain Cafe, The Bitter End, Mondo Perso and Kenny’s Castaways etc... In the early 2000’s, as the blues scene faded in NYC, Vico started collaborating with other musicians and honed and refined his songwriting skills by collaborating with different style musicians through 2014. Since then, Vico continued his prolific songwriting as a solo artist, putting together a collection of powerful songs that have a deep rooted, hard driving soulful feel, and lyrics that resonate.
