When in Rome, At age 14, I fell into the music scene at the famous Piper Club. I would sneak out at night and hang out stage managing for British Bands, like Lord Sutch. Coming back to the States, I started managing bands, learning to play the guitar, took Music Theory at SF State, joined a couple of bands, and starting a concert sound and production company. Founded, WAH Sound, in 1971 – Age 19 I 3,000 Shows in ten years. Police, Fleetwood Mac, Devo, Elvis Costello, Blondie, Van Halen, Herbie Hancock, Joni Mitchel, Neil Young, Garcia and Sanders, Emmy Lou Harris, Robin Williams, Steve Martin, Crystal Gayle, Eddie Money, BB King, Taj Mahal, Van Morrison, Pat Methany, Toots and the Mytals, Smokey Robinson, Ashford and Simpson, Ohio Players, Donald Byrd, Grover Washington, Red Fox, Joe Jackson, Ray Charles, Chic, Gordon Lightfoot, Elvin Bishop, Flo and Eddie, Beau Brummels, Gatlin Brothers, Kingfish, Oak Ridge Boys, Hot Tuna, Plasmatics, Riders in the Sky, Player, Asleep at the Wheel.
