Growing up on the northend of Bridgeport, Connecticut, during the mid-90s and early 2000s, crime, gang violence, and narcotics riddled the city, allowing it to make the country's top ten list most dangerous cities to live. Being raised around relatives and friends affiliated with project communities and nationwide gang ties exposed him to the unwritten rules and dos and don'ts of "street life." Following the footsteps of his then idols, he fell into a lifestyle of street influence and gang violence before realizing his poetic potential in songwriting and business.
