Vuyô is a South African born singer and songwriter living in Paris. His music is inspired by the original South African music genre Amapiano. He mixes different singing techniques such as rap and spoken word into the production of his music which is performed in his native language of Xhosa and Zulu. He produces the original electric music that he writes and performs. With a background in professional contemporary dance, his music is heavily inspired by electric dance music. Vuyô is an experimental artist who mixes different genres to create his own unique Amapiano sound. “Music is freedom. To be able to express yourself through song is empowering!” - Vuyô
