Aruba

Born in Amsterdam(1998, Reigersbos), raised on the beautiful island of Aruba and of Surinamese-Haitian descent. At a young age (11) I began to embrace my passion for music and songwriting and wrote my single 'Awa' meaning Water. Gradually I discovered my creative urges in which I injected my energy and dedication as a singer, a songwriter, producer, musical- and vocal performer and a creative director. The music I create is multilingual and influenced by my surroundings such as the energy flow of observing love, joy, sadness, and other human emotions I encounter. I compose music on my acoustic guitar and translate my philosophical thoughts and emotions into lyrics with my own musical melodies. My vision as an artist revolves around music and creative healing: “Being able to feed your inner spirit with universal energy such as peace and tranquility in which it may direct you in expressing yourself through a creative outlet ”.
