I am Try-Racial Native American, African American & Caucasian (Dutch, European). I’m very proud of my Native American heritage (Odowa & Lumbee) which you’ll hear some essences of in my music. Even my stage name Wakshi-Batoo means Fox Trot (written in Ojibwe). I was born with Epilepsy, Multiple Comprehensive Learning Disabilities including a speech disorder, High Functioning Autism, & ADHD. All of which I’ve written about my story within most of my songs. My personal primary aim is to showcase my ability to write lyrics & secondly to show how I can direct & format sounds by music theory given my medical conditions & circumstances. The overall objective is to encourage, motivate/ inspire, deliver support & awareness to those living with hardships from incurable discrepancies like Disabilities, Syndromes, Disorders & other factors at birth to helping others who have suffered through traumas such as all types of abuse, depression, & freedom rights.
