Lovebirds Keith and Emily Fernandez combine elements of bedroom pop, psychedelic, and nostalgia to form the curiously infectious sound that is WalkJog. The pair met in college where they studied music, marrying a few years later. Keith is the dreamer, Em the realist. Together they’ve discovered that in being true to themselves they can find hope and balance in all walks (or jogs) of life. WalkJog represents the interdependence between Keith and Em, and the togetherness that they want others to experience when listening to their music. The band gives voice to pain while underscoring those feelings with a sense of hope and positivity. It makes sense that one should experience the need to move when vibing to WalkJog. Based in Orange County, the band draws from the loose, relaxed atmosphere that is SoCal to produce the sonic sensation that few listeners regret. Walk or jog? Up to you.
