Born in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, Josell carries the sound and spirit of Latin urban music wherever he goes. His mother moved their family to Wisconsin in search of a better life, but the culture of Puerto Rico never left him. Growing up, his older brothers’ love for reggaeton filled the house and planted the seeds for the music he makes today.
Inspired by artists like Daddy Yankee, Tego Calderón, Myke Towers, Bad Bunny, Lil Wayne, and Drake, Josell blends reggaeton energy with hip-hop storytelling and modern melodic rap.
Coming from nothing and witnessing real struggle, he channels those experiences into his music. For Josell, music isn’t just entertainment—it’s truth, pain, resilience, and a reminder to never forget where you came from. His sound represents the new wave of Latin and hip-hop culture, driven by authenticity and the power of real life stories.
