Woodburn is the music project of Australian psychologist, social scientist and lifelong musician Adam J.W. Walker. Moving between guitar-driven songwriting, ambient soundscapes, electronica and psychedelic experimentation, Woodburn explores the places where memory, meaning, family, loss and transformation intersect. The project grew from decades of making music as a personal practice rather than a pursuit of genre. Each release captures something lived — sometimes carefully constructed, sometimes emerging from a guitar, a phone recording or an unexpected moment of inspiration. At its centre is a simple philosophy: music as a way of leaving breadcrumbs — marking where we have been, what moved us, and what we carry forward.
