Inspired by Gary Numan, The Flaming lips, Devo, New Wave, electronic and psychedelic rock pioneers. Yor seeks to blend the soothing sounds of Casio keyboards with the futuristic sounds of Lynn drums and spaced out guitar tones of fury and wonder. Yor blends all of these powers in an attempt to overthrow our robot overlord.
Born in a Hewlett Packard factory on the outskirts of Nashville, Tn, the machincal origins of Yor are shrouded in internet lore. It wasn't until emerging in Philadelphia, Pa, that the first signs of his music began to manifest into our reality.
I discovered his music when I was sent a mysterious email with the title "YOR REQUIRES HELP TO SAVE HUMANITY". The email contained a file with music on it. The only words written were "SPREAD THE WORD, FIGHT THE OVERLORD". Although I know very little. This transmission trouble me enough to try and get his message out to who ever will listen. It could be our only hope to save reality.
