Hi I'm Zak, I had the coolest dad in the world and these are his recordings from the 80s! Damon O. Harris (1961-2020) was born in Birmingham, Alabama. He was a natural artist and painter that quickly developed a love for The Beatles at an early age. His artistic abilities and quick learning fueled his curiosity in music. He got his first acoustic guitar in the 70s and obtained a Tascam 244 Portastudio in 1982, during the rise of home music recording. His DIY home recording journey consisted of writing thousands of songs and recording hundreds onto cassette. These are the originals he put together through the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s. His music represents the journey of artistic souls and embodies what it means to be a creative hidden gem.
