Who is GSi? Sensitive, Impulsive, Raw! Always has been, always will be. Geraldo “GSi” Castillo grew up in the west side of Buffalo, NY. A hyper kid, with a ton of energy and passion, his mother decided to have his uncle (William Ortiz) teach him traditional Latin percussion. This served him well, as much of his music incorporates many Latin percussion elements. He’s had the opportunity to play with many local artists in Buffalo, including Vitamin D and the Goo Goo Dolls, and has toured globally with Reign of Kindo. He also fronts one of Buffalo’s strongest and most sought after groups, a band that goes by the name of RNSM (So GOOD!). After years of supporting and collaborating with other artists, he has now switched his focus onto his solo project, GSi. Throughout this time, he’s written and produced many songs that have yet to be released. Now, it is clear he’s decided that fear can longer keep him from showing the world his sound, his music, his passion.
