London based singer- songwriter, Nia M was born and raised in Portugal until her early teens but she always felt connected to her african roots (Sao Tome and Principe). Nia has loved the arts since she was little, but it was only when she moved to the UK that she realised how much she really loved it, she started by performing covers at School and by the age of 14 she got the chance to sing at the Royal Albert Hall and later at the age of 17 at Westminster Hall. Today she is an eclectic singer- songwriter that explores multiple genres of music from Rnb to Kizomba and afro swing, blending all the cultures that shape her and pulling inspiration from a variety of artists to hopefully create her own sound. Lyrically she tends to mix different languages and create empowering and uplifting songs.
