New Zealand born singer-songwriter Madeline is honest, seductive and thought-provoking. Her brand of neo-soul infused pop, inspired by classic literature and art suggests that she has been born in the wrong time, but is making it work for her. Reigning from the seaside Christchurch town of Sumner, Madeline has been singing and performing from the age of 6. Her love of music has taken her throughout the country. Having studied at the Auckland University Jazz School and writing and touring with all-girl rockers She Loves You (for whom she provides lead vocals), she has managed to combine hypnotic lounge vocals with thumping bass lines and tantalising trap beats to create a sound that is uniquely her own. All while maintaining the fearless confidence that comes from being a front-person.
