Aaron Rizzo is a producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Rochester, NY. Growing up listening to the sounds of the 80s, Aaron became obsessed with the creation of music and developed a keen ear for cutting edge production. By adolescence, this obsession manifested itself in performances with a rotation of bands and projects, leading to a pursuit of a career in recording. Aaron earned his Bachelor of Music degree in Sound Recording Technology at Ithaca College, studying under engineer/mentor Alex Perialas. Here he acquired a vast knowledge of recording, from analog tape to modern pop production. He also rigorously studied areas of music theory, history and ear training, giving him a Swiss-army-knife ear in the studio. In the summer of 2018, he interned at the Bunker Studio in Brooklyn, NY under engineer Todd Carder. It was during this time that he gathered a multitude of risk-taking production techniques and aesthetics that have come to be his essence as a producer.
