Andrés Orellana is a music producer, saxophonist, and electronic artist based in Los
Angeles, California. A recent graduate from the Berklee College of Music with a major
in Electronic Production and Design, Andrés combines his experience on the
saxophone with a unique approach to hip hop music to create contemporary jazz
under the stage name Abstract Apathy. Under this alias, he has released 5 EP’s and,
most recently, a debut album entitled Magía which he produced, composed, recorded,
and mixed this year. Through his music, Andrés hopes to provide the listener with a
relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life and he utilizes various sound
design techniques, as well as recordings from the natural world, to create musical
environments for the listener. Andrés has studied the tenor saxophone with George
Garzone, latin jazz with Angel Louis Figueroa, and electronic composition/visuals with
Neil Leonard and has performed with multiple bands varying in style and orc
