Against the Green features the collaborative expression of Penny and Dave Johnson, partners in life and song. Combining sounds of ardent folk with the experimental nature of our times, the duo presents soundscapes and poetry that taps both contemplation and adventure inside all of us. Heartfelt harmonies and melodic textures weave together to create a fabric that is unique to the ATG sound, begging the listener to simplify and be present. Against the Green has been writing, recording and performing since 2002 on both the east and west coasts.
