ake5o is a Vancouver electro-pop, singer/songwriter with a big vision to bring to the world. She hopes to inspire others to overcome their suffering and live a life of joy through her art. Her lyrics draw from painful past experiences and all the work she has done to expand beyond her conditioned limiting beliefs. She sings about love, the state of the world, mental health and spiritual concepts. She creates with a lot of intention behind every detail, incorporating soundscapes that draw from nature or real life. She believes in uplifting the underdogs and helping others realize their infinite potential, and therefore collaborates with other incredibly talented artists with their own set of struggles in the world. She also has unbreakable hope in humanity and our ability to heal ourselves and the planet. She often uses metaphors to connect personal healing to the universe or to earth.
