I'm Alexis, a 23 year old singer/songwriter and self-taught multi-instrumenatalist from South Africa. Creativity is a part of who I am and my passion for music started at a very young. For me, writing songs is cathatric and I call myself a storyteller (or raconteur - love that word) - which is a huge part of my personal and artist identity. My songs are stories that I am passionate about sharing and I treat them with care in every detail - to portray a plot worth listening to; a storyline that is relatable and sparks interest and emotion. Although I consider my genre Indie Pop , I also believe that the music and overall sound (i.e the story's setting) of my songs is largely based on the narrative I'm trying to tell and what will bring it to life!
