Describing herself playfully as the 'edgy teen who never quite grew out of her edgy phase', 22 year old Singer/Songwriter Alex Wilkinson (based between Leeds and Essex) creates a blend of music that appears to span an eclectic range of genres and eras. With a strong 90's/2000's rock drive behind it, her music finds itself occupying the unique space between the realms of pop-punk and grunge, resembling the 'overdriven guitar rock' sound similar to that of bands such as Green Day, Paramore and Pearl Jam. However, Alex's emotive lyrics help her music to resonate less with the dismissively rebellious attitude of rock and more towards the sentiment and soul that fuels the narratives told through the voices of classic RnB singers such as Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald and Amy Winehouse. Alex is also a member of the rock covers band 'The Lucy Dream' who have played regular slots in and around Bishops Stortford area. DEBUT EP 'Are We There Yet?' set for release July 2022
