Hi my name is Alan Basile. I started singing and playing guitar at the young age of nine . The Beatles were my first and biggest influence. As years gone by my other influences were the Doobie brothers, Eagles, Eric Clapton,Bob Seger, John Cugar, Almand Brothers, BB King and many more. I was in many bands, before my brother and I started our own band called Travelin Thru. Travelin Thru has opened up for acts such as The Associations, Del Shannon,and Sha Na Na. Travelin Thru were together for over 20 yrs. I had to stop playing guitar for a while when I developed Carpal tunnel syndrome in my right hand. After surgery, it took me about a year and half to be able to play the guitar again. But now I am back and writing song after song, and loving it. Here are my songs that I have recorded in my home studio. Hope you enjoy them.
